The colour red.

\
i completed The Night Circus earlier. to tell you the truth, i didn't understand most of the story. the chapters jump from date to date, so i probably got a little confused somewhere. i had to occasionally flip back through the pages to check the previous chapters' dates.

my suggestion is you pay attention to the dates at the beginning of every chapter. see, dates are very important.

what's my next book, you ask? well... although i'd already said i would read Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children after, i'm currently having a dilemma between that and The Prague Cemetery.

i've got an unexpected trip to Johor today. tonight, to be more specific. i dislike this. it'll be too dark to read, and i don't have anything to listen to music with. thus, i will end up thinking of things which i shouldn't.

and it makes me wish all the more that i have a PSP or a charger and Pokemon for my Game Boy.

alright, i gotta tell you how my day went. i stepped into the school gates with a gloomy face as always and someone called out, "hey, hey smile, smile, smile!!"

it was none other than Had Rafael, who added when i turned to him, "pagi-pagi senyuuum!" as annoying as he always gets, he's still a precious friend of mine.

next, i got a sweet sweet text from another friend of mine, which i saw before my first paper started. i had to smile when i saw it, it was just ultra sweet.

English was alright, but the Physics paper was difficult!!! it didn't help that i didn't properly bang on Physics during the holidays. goodness. and everyone else was talking about it too after the exam.

the other time when i went to Geylang with my mom, there came this Hari Raya song, and my mom told me she had a massive crush on the boy who sang it, when they were both little kids.

i wonder who sang the original Pokemon theme, too. it's like his voice is such a trademark already.

damn, i really love Pokemon so much. x.x i really wanna play them again, especially the games from the first generation/kanto region.

a little confession though. as much as i love Pokemon, i don't really like Ash or Pikachu. if you read the Pokemon Adventures comics [which i kinda doubt so] there's this character Red which i thought resembled Ash. but Red is better, bwahah.

he's more cool and less annoying, at least.

i stopped reading those Pokemon comics after i finished with the Hoenn region segment. i decided i couldn't stand Sinnoh after the first few episodes of Diamond and Pearl.

i think i should probably fuck up my blog pretty soon and install a Pokemon theme. what do you think? (;

wow, the colour red sure has all kinds of significance to it. in The Night Circus, the people in the circus had this sort of uniform where they can be totally decked out in shades of grey, and add a little dash of red, like a scarf. and now here we are talking about Red from Pokemon.

and then last and least, there is the red tadpole. who would forget the red tadpole.

i heard somewhere that the red colour may be the colour of life, but it can also be for death. i mentioned it once before too, i think? i had said that while blood flows in your veins, pumps into your heart and all that, it can also lead to your death, like too much loss, things like that.

fun fact: all my years of loving Pokemon, i have never tried to draw any apart from an Absol back in sec 1, and a Gardevoir and Kirlia gijinka just recently.

i might not be blogging for the next few days, i think. i hope you miss me, suckers.
