this is just one of the reasons why i love Singapore; all the flags that are put up everywhere, every year! aside from this, all my other reasons are actually pretty weird too, i think.
i like how we're small. i dont know, it makes me feel like this causes us to be more united, more together, closer, you know?
so my national day last year had been spent with the MKI, watching fireworks. while the year before,... i don't really wanna talk about it, though that memory remains in me. and then back in 2009 was the very first Reunion, after the school's national day celebrations.
i must admit, not every 9th of August has a pretty memory attached to it. but the fact that it's my country's birthday makes it enough for me to look out my bedroom window and smile.
